Hi, I'm Sofia - the hands behind Siren.

Siren was born from my love of the ocean and its endless call to adventure. The way water bends light, the shapes the waves leave in the sand, the lines of driftwood washed up on the shore - this is what I try to capture in silver, so you can carry a little of the sea with you.

How each piece is made

Every piece starts as a small block of wax that I carve and shape by hand in my workshop in Athens. The wax model is then cast in solid 925 sterling silver using the lost-wax technique - an ancient method in which the wax melts away and the silver takes its exact place. After casting, I file, shape and polish each piece myself.

Because everything is made by hand and in small batches, no two pieces are ever exactly alike. A slightly different curve, a softer edge, a texture that catches the light in its own way - I think of these as part of the story, not flaws.

Why Siren

In the old myths, the Sirens sang from the rocks and no sailor could resist the call. I like to think of my jewelry the same way: small, wild things that call you back to the sea - whether you live by it or carry it with you in the city.

I'm a mother and a dreamer, and I make every piece with the same care I'd want for something I'd wear myself, every single day. Thank you for being here.
